You said “bias” … But what does it mean?
In this article, we make a focus on BIAS which is the main element of our know-how. But before anything else, it is important to define what is a Warp and Weft Fabric.

Definition of bias
“The bias is the result of an oblique cutting of the fabric, generally at 45 ° compared to the grainline fabric.
Why do we use the bias?
The bias is made to line in a continuous way even if you have angles because it is elastic. It allows a pose without folds and a neat trimming. Furthermore, the oblique fabric frays much less than the grainline fabric.
